Nesting and creating a cozy environment at home is so important. Decorating and personalizing your place is the first step to feeling settled while on your travel assignment.

Stay Connected

Keep in touch with your friends and family. Social media, Facetime and Skype are great ways to stay connected to your loved ones who are not around you on a daily basis. Make it a point to reach out to them regularly.

Make Friends

Meet and mingle with your fellow travel nurses. Connecting with people who understand your situation will help you cope with any homesick feelings you may have. Also, working with people your friends with makes work way more fun!
