We just wanted to give a big congrats to our April Treasured Traveler winners Susan Humphries, RN and Shannon McCune, SLP. We hope you enjoy your pizza party!
Here are some words from their recruiter:
This woman never ceases to amaze me! Traveling with PPR now for almost 3 years, Susan is one of the most kind hearted, loyal, passionate, and undeniably positive person that I have come to meet in my years of recruiting. For Susan it is always all about her patients and being the best nurse that she can be for them. Susan’s heart clearly lies in her career and that is evident when you see her walk into every shift with a big smile on. Not only does she show extreme passion for helping but also enjoys sharing her knowledge with newer nurses while acting as their preceptor. Yep, believe it or not she has been precepting on her travel contracts, that’s how strong of a nurse she is!! She never backs down from anything that is asked of her, I’m pretty sure that “No” is not in her vocabulary. Every person that she has worked with at PPR, myself included, always comments on how fun loving and personable she is and how 2 minutes after meeting her you feel like you are best buds. In addition, all of her managers have commented on how excellent her skills are and how much of an asset she is to their unit, if they could keep her on full time they would. Susan, I can’t tell you how honored I am to be your recruiter. I feel as though you are not just a tremendous PPR traveler but a true friend and want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the fun conversations, laughs, and smiles you have shared with me over the years. I am a better person for knowing you.
